Delete your account

Version: 1.0 · Effective: 23 October 2026

This page explains how to delete your account for the CarPulse app (developer: Blaze Data Solution Kft.): how to request it, what is deleted and what is retained. You do not need to log in to read it.

1. The app and the developer

App: CarPulse (iOS and Android app, and the carpulse.app web interface). Developer and controller: Blaze Data Solution Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Blaze Data Solution Kft.), Gadó utca 8. TT 7. ajtó, 7636 Pécs, Hungary. Contact: support@blazedata.hu.

2. Delete your account in the mobile app

1. Open the CarPulse app and log in.

2. Open the Profile tab, then "My data & account".

3. Choose "Delete account", read the consequences, and confirm by typing the confirmation word shown.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your data, request a data export in the same menu before deleting.

3. Delete your account on the web

1. Log in at carpulse.app.

2. Open the "My account" page (carpulse.app/account).

3. In the "Delete account" section choose "Delete account…", tick the box confirming you understand deletion is permanent, then choose "Delete permanently".

4. Request deletion by e-mail

If you cannot log in or no longer have the app, you can request deletion by e-mailing support@blazedata.hu from the e-mail address registered to your CarPulse account. We answer requests within one month.

5. If you are the only owner of a workshop

If you are the only owner of a workshop, you must first transfer ownership to another member or close the workshop before you can delete your account. The workshop owner can separately request permanent deletion of the workshop's data at support@blazedata.hu (see Section 10 of the Terms of Service).

6. What is deleted or anonymised when you delete your account

Your name, e-mail address and phone number are deleted and your account becomes an anonymised (deleted) account; your password, PIN and any Apple or Google sign-in link are removed.

Your sessions, device identifiers (push notifications), notification settings and workshop memberships are deleted.

Vehicle photos stored only in your personal storage and your data-export files are deleted. Cars that no workshop has any record of are deleted, and your personal reminders are deleted.

Your open service requests are cancelled. The text of messages you wrote on jobs is removed.

In workshops' customer records your name is replaced with "Deleted customer", your e-mail address and phone number are deleted and the link to your account is removed. Network data recorded in logs (IP address, browser/device identifier) and your e-mail address or phone number appearing in log content are deleted or anonymised.

7. What is retained, and for how long

Workshops' job sheets, estimates and repair history - for which the workshop is the controller - stay with the workshop, but your name and contact details are removed from them; vehicle data held by a workshop remains as part of the vehicle's service history but is no longer linked to your account.

The approval log (estimate approvals, stage events and related log entries) is kept for 5 years, within the civil-law limitation period; personal data in it is anonymised (the name becomes "Deleted customer", and the IP address and device identifier are removed).

Data needed for billing and accounting - where it arises in connection with a workshop's subscription - is kept for the period required by law because of a legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

For details see the "Retention" section of the Privacy Notice.
