Terms of Service
Version: 0.2 · Effective: 16 October 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of the CarPulse service (web interface and mobile app) by workshops and car owners.
1. Service provider
Provider: Blaze Data Solution Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Blaze Data Solution Kft.). Registered office: Gadó utca 8. TT 7. ajtó, 7636 Pécs, Hungary. Company reg. no.: 02-09-088407 (Registry Court of the Pécs Regional Court). Tax no.: 32583016-2-02, EU VAT no.: HU32583016. Represented by Balázs Láng, managing director. E-mail: support@blazedata.hu. Hosting provider: Railway Corporation (San Francisco, USA; data is stored in the EU, in a data centre in the Netherlands).
2. Definitions
Workshop: a car repair business subscribing to the service. Customer: a car owner or keeper using the workshop's services. User: anyone who creates an account or uses the service. Tracking link: a unique, expiring link to a repair's status that opens without login.
3. The service
CarPulse is an online job-management and customer-communication tool: fault reporting on a vehicle diagram, job sheets, tasks and progress tracking, photo log, estimates and item-by-item approval.
CarPulse does not perform repairs, does not issue invoices and is not a party to the repair contract between the workshop and the customer.
4. Registration and account
Registration requires accurate information. Users are responsible for keeping their password secret and for activity under their account. A user may belong to several workshops and may also be a customer.
5. Plans, fees and trial
The plans available to workshops (Pro, Workshop, Custom), their limits and fees are listed on the pricing page. Fees are net amounts plus the applicable Hungarian VAT (currently 27%).
Trial: every new workshop gets a 14-day free trial with all Pro features, without a payment card. One trial is available per tax number. Billing does not start automatically when the trial ends: if the workshop does not choose a plan, its account switches to read-only mode; its data is kept and can be viewed and exported.
Payment and invoicing: web subscriptions are paid in advance by card for the chosen period (monthly or yearly) through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until the workshop cancels it. The provider issues an electronic invoice for each payment, sent by e-mail and available in the account. Subscriptions bought in an app store (App Store, Google Play) are charged by that store under its own terms; the store then issues the receipt or invoice.
Price and plan changes: the provider gives at least 30 days' notice of price changes by e-mail; the new price applies from the next renewal. Upgrades take effect immediately and the difference is prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. If a payment fails, the provider notifies the workshop by e-mail and retries for 7 days; if it still fails, the account switches to read-only mode.
6. Estimated amounts
Estimates shown in the system are estimated amounts, not invoices. The actual price is set and invoiced by the workshop in its own system. A customer's approval is a statement to the workshop; CarPulse records it in an immutable log.
7. Users' obligations
Using the service for unlawful purposes, uploading other people's personal data without authorisation or disrupting the system is prohibited. The workshop is responsible for processing its customers' data lawfully (see the Data Processing Agreement).
8. Intellectual property
The software, branding and vehicle diagrams belong to the provider or its licensors. Content uploaded by users remains theirs; the provider uses it only as needed to provide the service.
9. Availability and liability
The provider strives for continuous, error-free operation of the service but does not guarantee it. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. The provider is not liable for outages caused by maintenance, the user's device or internet connection, the failure of third-party services (e.g. hosting, e-mail, SMS or payment providers) or force majeure.
CarPulse is a work-management tool: the provider is not responsible for the quality of repairs performed by a workshop, for the performance of the contract between a workshop and its customer, for the accuracy of estimated amounts in the system, or for content uploaded by users. Claims relating to a repair are to be made against the workshop.
Towards workshops (businesses), the provider's liability for direct damage caused by breach of contract is limited to the subscription fees actually paid by that workshop in the 12 months preceding the damage; the provider is not liable for lost profit or indirect damage. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to damage to life, physical integrity or health (Section 6:152 of the Hungarian Civil Code). Towards users who are consumers, liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Termination
Cancellation by the workshop: the subscription can be cancelled at any time on the Subscription page of the account or at support@blazedata.hu. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; until then the service can be used as before. Fees for a paid, partly unused period are not refunded unless required by law. Subscriptions bought in an app store are cancelled in that store's account settings.
After cancellation: the workshop account switches to read-only mode. Data is kept for at least 90 days and can be viewed and exported (JSON and PDF); work can continue without interruption by subscribing again. The workshop owner may request the permanent deletion of the workshop's data at any time; personal data in the immutable approval log is anonymised.
Account deletion: any user may delete their account at any time on the My account page. A user who is the only owner of a workshop must first transfer ownership or close the workshop. The service is free for customers (car owners), who may delete their account at any time.
Termination by the provider: the provider may terminate the contract without giving reasons with 30 days' notice; in that case it refunds the unused part of the paid period pro rata. In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms (in particular unlawful use, unauthorised upload of other people's data, interference with the system, or unpaid fees) the provider may suspend the account or workshop, or terminate the contract, with immediate effect. Tracking links of a suspended workshop remain view-only.
Right of withdrawal: workshops contract as businesses, so the 14-day withdrawal right of consumers does not apply to them; the trial lets them try the service free of charge.
11. Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to support@blazedata.hu. Consumers may also turn to the conciliation board of their place of residence. These Terms are governed by Hungarian law.
12. Changes to these Terms
The provider may amend these Terms and will notify users at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
